The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gavino Guifre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Pelayo Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cuervos Galácticos's Gavino Guifre got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gavino Guifre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pelayo Vazquez was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Eutropio Harroyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Gavino Guifre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pelayo Vazquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Guifre in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pelayo Vazquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pelayo Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Guifre, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Nahia Sierra charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nahia Sierra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los Colegas del Barrio getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nahia Sierra hit a great ball. Gavino Guifre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nahia Sierra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dávid Kárpáti having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Los Colegas del Barrio's zone, Gavino Guifre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelayo Vazquez came out of the goal and Gavino Guifre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gavino Guifre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pelayo Vazquez was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Guifre in the 36th minute of play forced Los Colegas del Barrio's goalkeeper Pelayo Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Dorado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dávid Kárpáti having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Eutropio Harroyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Colegas del Barrio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuervos Galácticos the free kick. Eutropio Harroyo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Santos Lauren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pelayo Vazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Los Colegas del Barrio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarin Silva to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Guifre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pelayo Vazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavino Guifre to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Guifre in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Dávid Kárpáti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Los Colegas del Barrio's Nahia Sierra in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuervos Galácticos's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Los Colegas del Barrio getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leo Dorado hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Gavino Guifre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Nahia Sierra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Colegas del Barrio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nahia Sierra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Gavino Guifre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Colegas del Barrio's Pelayo Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavino Guifre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game Nahia Sierra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuervos Galácticos's Dávid Kárpáti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 94 in the game by Gavino Guifre from a close distance when the talented Pelayo Vazquez managed to make a qualified save. Los Colegas del Barrio's players were relieved. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
