In the 17th match minute, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artūras Putrimas to maneuver through the defense. Sagrario Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orestas Kontautas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Montxo Avecilla hit a great ball. Hubertas Radzinevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herkus Janavičius during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Herkus Janavičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Hubertas Radzinevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palle Tazon in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ermengol Cabrales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hubertas Radzinevičius was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Municipal's Ermengol Cabrales slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hubertas Radzinevičius. That made the score 4-0 after 43 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Ermengol Cabrales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orestas Kontautas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Airidas Grapskis hit a great ball. Hubertas Radzinevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lapurdi Collazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Lapurdi Collazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubertas Radzinevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Ermengol Cabrales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Hubertas Radzinevičius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 75 played minutes FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI got a freekick which was hit by Colin Robinson. 76 minutes into the match, Ermengol Cabrales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hubertas Radzinevičius. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermengol Cabrales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladas Drakul during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI! 83 minutes into the match, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's goal looked a bit too open when Lapurdi Collazo came free, but Hubertas Radzinevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montxo Avecilla kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Hubertas Radzinevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermengol Cabrales in the 91st minute of play. Lapurdi Collazo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lapurdi Collazo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lapurdi Collazo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artūras Putrimas in the 93rd minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper Sagrario Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Palle Tazon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
