Sidney Lin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Higinio Terciero made a huge save. But to his dismay, Sidney Lin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 32nd minute Lorenzo Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Pack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Black Knights FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Leon Burrell hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Honorio Oriol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Henrico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maní FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Knights FC the free kick. After 38 played minutes Maní FC got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Henrico. Maní FC's Higinio Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Lin in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Henrico to strike the kick off in the second half. Higinio Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Stubbs, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd minute Raymundo Kirkland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Lin in the 54th minute of the match. William Stubbs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Terciero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Lin in the 57th minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Higinio Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Oliverios came free, but Salvador Pack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Raymundo Kirkland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Terciero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidney Lin's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, William Stubbs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Knights FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Stubbs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcial Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Ferguson in the 73rd minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Higinio Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Ferguson came free, but Higinio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match Black Knights FC got a corner. Maní FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raymundo Kirkland ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 80 played minutes Maní FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Oriol. In the 81st minute of the match Raymundo Kirkland shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Higinio Terciero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Ferguson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Terciero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 92nd minute of the match Lorenzo Henrico completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lorenzo Henrico a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 93rd match minute, Maní FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Henrico to maneuver through the defense. Elias Ferguson kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
