Black Knights FC's Salvador Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Dantae in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Black Knights FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Norbert Mathews hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Ferguson in the 22nd minute of play forced Simoneta FC's goalkeeper Hasret Şahinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Simoneta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raymundo Kirkland was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Knights FC's players had a chance to rest. William Stubbs was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sidney Lin took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hasret Şahinalp. Hasret Şahinalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 38th minute, Gilbert Harper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidney Lin in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hasret Şahinalp saved Simoneta FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Simoneta FC's Victorino Dantae got a free kick in the 47th minute. Sidney Lin struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Hasret Şahinalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Knights FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Elias Fergusons short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Hasret Şahinalp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elias Ferguson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Hasret Şahinalp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Black Knights FC's Salvador Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homer Gol in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when Simoneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Homer Gol charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Homer Gol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Sidney Lin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hasret Şahinalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ivan Atarrabi hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Simoneta FC's Hasret Şahinalp got control of the ball when Elias Ferguson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Barry Drummond fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Knights FC's protests and gave Barry Drummond a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Black Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Drummond to maneuver through the defense.
