With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krzysztof Kasprzak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Dulka in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Aloísio Chulapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Kasprzak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Przemyslaw Pstrongowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Gustaw Brack from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Cristian Peres's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Roch Dulka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Peres having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Divina Comédia FC's Aloísio Chulapa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krzysztof Kasprzak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Fabiano Gøl to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir da Silva got free with Krzysztof Kasprzak in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 86 played minutes Divina Comédia FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Varela. In the 89th minute Luiz Fabiano Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Kasprzak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Frank Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 minutes, Frederico Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Divina Comédia FC and the Heide FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Divina Comédia FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. The Divina Comédia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Peres should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Dulka in the 96th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Cristian Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
