The crowd rose to their feet as Maní FC's Marcial Oliverios slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salvador Pack. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. The supporters of Maní FC booed when Black Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxwell Myrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Henrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Salvador Pack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute of the match Black Knights FC got a corner. Maní FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raymundo Kirkland ran over to the corner to take the kick. Black Knights FC's Barry Drummond was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Higinio Terciero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute Marcial Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Pack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Maní FC's Marcial Oliverios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvador Pack made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Lorenzo Henrico's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Salvador Pack firmly grabbed it by the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Elias Ferguson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Maní FC's Higinio Terciero. Higinio Terciero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Higinio Terciero was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Henrico in the 43rd minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Salvador Pack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Lin in the 46th minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Higinio Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute William Stubbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
With a little luck, Maní FC's Higinio Terciero got control of the ball when Elias Ferguson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Ferguson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Higinio Terciero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Lin came free, but Higinio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Higinio Terciero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Higinio Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Lin in the 65th minute of play. Higinio Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymundo Kirkland, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Maní FC's Lorenzo Henrico in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Black Knights FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raymundo Kirkland in the 83rd minute. Leon Burrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Higinio Terciero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Terciero was a little too slow when Elias Ferguson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Lin in the 92nd minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Higinio Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Terciero made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when William Stubbs sent off a good shot on target. The Maní FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Black Knights FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
