Amadeo Erasto might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ritchie Stocks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Erasto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 4th minute Amadeo Erasto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Stocks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Atlético Rio Cuarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Ado to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Marcelo Roldan got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Amadeo Erasto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Rio Cuarto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bonifacio Ado got a free kick in the 19th minute. Astor Liher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ritchie Stocks having to make a save. De Keikoppers's Ritchie Stocks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Liher in the 24th minute of play. Ritchie Stocks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Erasto in the 25th minute of play. Erwin Naets kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Amadeo Erasto might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ritchie Stocks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Erasto ran back to his position shaking his head. Ritchie Stocks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Erasto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Atlético Rio Cuarto's Amadeo Erasto in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Keikoppers's goalie prevented a goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ritchie Stocks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Erasto, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 59 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Ado. Ritchie Stocks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Liher in the 62nd minute of play. Astor Liher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ritchie Stocks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Lonzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Caniggia went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Celso Lonzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Naets, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The supporters of De Keikoppers booed when Atlético Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Roldan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ritchie Stocks was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Amadeo Erasto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amadeo Erasto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After a rather tough play, De Keikoppers's Tom Francken got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
