Gervasio Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind RÖK's goalkeeper Yan Pirani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gervasio Bieito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yan Pirani came out and tried to block the shot, but Gervasio Bieito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Jacobo Olivar struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Yan Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Lanus. Gervasio Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Guedes in the 11th minute of the match. Gervasio Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, RÖK's Virgílio Rodrigues got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jacobo Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, RÖK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Sena to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to RÖK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Anísio Santana hit a great ball. Yan Pirani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Bieito in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lanus's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Sena came free, but Gervasio Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, RÖK's César de Barros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed César de Barros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of RÖK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and César de Barros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Club Atletico Lanus booed when RÖK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. César de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Benat missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 40 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Yan Pirani right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico Lanus's Honorio Pinto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yan Pirani. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

55 minutes into the match, RÖK's Wesley Sena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Santiago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Bieito in the 60th minute of play forced RÖK's goalkeeper Yan Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Wesley Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RÖK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vladimiro Heriberto hit a great ball. The long shot by Emílio Albuquerque in the 77th minute really tested Gervasio Santiago's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gabriel Veronica charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Veronica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Club Atletico Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Veronica. Wesley Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Santiago having to interfere. Honorio Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Wesley Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Gervasio Santiago made a huge save. Francisco Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atletico Lanus had won after a very even match.
