After 19 minutes of play, RÖK's Francisco Novaes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erich Pitten was left in no man's land by his defense there! RÖK's Yan Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save RÖK from getting a goal against them. In the 24th match minute, RÖK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juninho Souto to maneuver through the defense. Yan Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holder Zocholl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holder Zocholl took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yan Pirani. Yan Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The supporters of RÖK booed when SSV Ulm 1846 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Roth didn't get a good kick on the ball. RÖK's Yan Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miro Klose in the 60th minute of play. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Miro Klose sped through RÖK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yan Pirani. The supporters of SSV Ulm 1846 booed when RÖK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holder Zocholl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Pirani having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Miro Klose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SSV Ulm 1846 booed when RÖK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. RÖK were furious when César de Barros was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. César de Barros hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Miro Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yan Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holder Zocholl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RÖK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
