Baltasar Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Chaves having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, La Vieja Guarida FC's Baltasar Derwin got a free kick in the 16th minute. Richard Hoffmann scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermengildo Licerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind La Vieja Guarida FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Licerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Richard Hoffmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hermengildo Licerio. Richard Hoffmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Mário Nascimento took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Hermengildo Licerio to make any attempt to save it. La Vieja Guarida FC's Hermengildo Licerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save La Vieja Guarida FC from getting a goal against them. Carlos Eduardo Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Derwin in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Roceira SC got a freekick which was hit by Remo Gonçalves. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Derwin in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Chaves saved Roceira SC from getting behind. Carlos Eduardo Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Derwin in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Nemesio Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Vieja Guarida FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Cordarell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Eduardo Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Remo Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roceira SC's protests and gave Remo Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. Remo Gonçalves hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. La Vieja Guarida FC's Carlos Lidon got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Derwin came free, but Carlos Eduardo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Vieja Guarida FC's Paulo Ferrando got a free kick in the 79th minute. La Vieja Guarida FC's Hermengildo Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Hoffmann in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Baltasar Derwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Carlos Eduardo Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermengildo Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Hermengildo Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Nascimento in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, La Vieja Guarida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Bartolome to maneuver through the defense.
