Paralia Athens's Doru Apostu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Derwin in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of La Vieja Guarida FC booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Robu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Aritza in the 20th minute of play forced Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Doru Apostu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Score! 1-0. After 45 minutes of play, Paralia Athens's Leonard Chirculescu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermengildo Licerio was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonard Chirculescu to strike the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Vicente Urtun in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paralia Athens's Luca Tomozei. Hermengildo Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Chirculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unai Herrera had several of the La Vieja Guarida FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Hermengildo Licerio as he didn't even see the shot coming. Hermengildo Licerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Unai Herrera went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 71stth minute of the game Leonard Chirculescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Vieja Guarida FC's Hermengildo Licerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
