With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márcio Garcia in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laur Vana saved FC Hiiu Pallurid from getting behind. Shark FC - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after FC Hiiu Pallurid's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomé Catarinense took the corner. Laur Vana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Garcia in the 26th minute of the match. FC Hiiu Pallurid's Laur Vana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Garcia in the 27th minute of play. Laur Vana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Márcio Garcia's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Sharkin in the 46th minute of play forced FC Hiiu Pallurid's goalkeeper Laur Vana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Shark FC - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Shark FC - FSCMZ's Márcio Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Márcio Garcia put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Laur Vana. 73 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Luiz Fernando Zonta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laur Vana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Shark FC - FSCMZ played a much better game than FC Hiiu Pallurid and deserved their victory. The FC Hiiu Pallurid players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
