The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute Donato Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Francisco Geleberto made a precise shot to the right of Mikael Lundström. Surahammar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 73 minutes into the match, Francisco Geleberto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mikael Lundström, 2-3.
