The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Chute de Ouro FC booed when FC COSA NOSTRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miglius Beržinis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Chute de Ouro FC defense, Algirdas Brazauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felippe Maranhense. The Chute de Ouro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felippe Maranhense should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, Stasys Povilaitis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felippe Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 20th minute, Algirdas Brazauskas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felippe Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Felippe Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Girnius in the 22nd minute of play. If Jonas Girnius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alfredas Vaitkevičius hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Sanches in the 34th minute of play forced FC COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Naglis Genys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chute de Ouro FC's Felippe Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algirdas Brazauskas in the 38th minute of play. Chute de Ouro FC's Eriberto Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half FC COSA NOSTRA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eriberto Sanches made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, FC COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredas Vaitkevičius to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Naglis Genys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chute de Ouro FC. After 60 minutes of play FC COSA NOSTRA's Alfredas Vaitkevičius was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 61 played minutes FC COSA NOSTRA got a freekick which was hit by Alfredas Vaitkevičius. Felippe Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasys Povilaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naglis Genys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Capixaba in the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goalkeeper Felippe Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Algirdas Brazauskas. After 75 minutes of play, Chute de Ouro FC's Ricardinho Capixaba made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naglis Genys was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Stasys Povilaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC COSA NOSTRA's Naglis Genys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Capixaba in the 84th minute of play. After 87 played minutes FC COSA NOSTRA got a freekick which was hit by Ramūnas Budraitis. Naglis Genys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Sanches in the 89th minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC COSA NOSTRA's Felippe Maranhense threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stasys Povilaitis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 97 minutes into the game, Mathias Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chute de Ouro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC COSA NOSTRA the free kick. After 97 played minutes Chute de Ouro FC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Lopez. FC COSA NOSTRA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
