Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tiburcio Karlo got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinos Juniors's zone, Adolfo Ramone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Demario came out of the goal and Adolfo Ramone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luciano Presebal hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Salvador Itzaina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Argentinos Juniors's Santiago Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Ramone in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute Adolfo Ramone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Ramone in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Gorgory getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Arsenio Javiar hit a great ball. Adolfo Ramone might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Demario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Ramone ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiburcio Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tiburcio Karlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentinos Juniors's Santiago Demario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Ramone in the 36th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Santiago Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Adrián Domenech hit a great ball. Santiago Demario came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Gorgory's Mambru Angeleri. But to his dismay, Mambru Angeleri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustacio Raebert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Eustacio Raebert hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Argentinos Juniors defense, Adolfo Ramone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Demario. The Argentinos Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Demario should have stopped the shot. After 61 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Itzaina. After a rather tough play, Argentinos Juniors's Salvador Itzaina got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Adolfo Ramone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Eustacio Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gorgory's Adolfo Ramone got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Adolfo Ramone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Adolfo Ramone got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arsenio Javiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Demario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Javiar ran back to his position shaking his head.
