The corner led FC LIVERPOOL's Ursus Martin to fire away a dangerous shot which Bogdan Bierfass despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bogdan Bierfass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phil Porter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Watarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Eugeniusz Rydzyk kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Will Sheridan took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Bierfass. Bogdan Bierfass dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Buldogi defense, Will Sheridan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bogdan Bierfass. The Buldogi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bogdan Bierfass should have stopped the shot. Greg Chilton kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Bogdan Bierfass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Chilton in the 23rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Daniel Watarz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buldogi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC LIVERPOOL the free kick. Daniel Watarz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Crispin Lynam came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC LIVERPOOL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Crispin Lynam couldn't finish the play. After 38 minutes, Radoslaw Hajto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buldogi and the FC LIVERPOOL players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Buldogi got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Hajto. Will Sheridan took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Bierfass. Bogdan Bierfass dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A collision led to FC LIVERPOOL getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kev Basham hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The supporters of Buldogi booed when FC LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Titmus didn't get a good kick on the ball.
