Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) FC Hugo's Paavo Peet started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paavo Peet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabri Fouquet having to interfere. Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin's late challenge caught a FC Hugo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin helped the player get up and apologised. Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match FC Hugo got a corner. La Pointe Courte's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Ojamäe ran over to the corner to take the kick. 12 minutes into the match, FC Hugo's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin came free, but Andre Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Paavo Peet rounded La Pointe Courte's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Yann Segond kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paavo Peet in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tom Oha managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hugo's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Oha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Fouquet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andre Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Grail in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thibaut Mazieres in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andre Pere saved FC Hugo from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Pierre-Antoine Mariette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andre Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paavo Peet in the 33rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Henri Lass put in a rough tackle. In the 36th match minute, FC Hugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri Lass to maneuver through the defense. Sabri Fouquet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paavo Peet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Hugo's Paavo Peet got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Yann Segond's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Andre Pere skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 56 minutes into the match, FC Hugo's goalkeeper Andre Pere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfried Mahé. Sabri Fouquet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Oha in the 59th minute of the match. La Pointe Courte made a substitution. Mathys Guigon replaced Pierre-Antoine Mariette. La Pointe Courte's Pierre-Antoine Charbonnel was substituted for Wilfried Mahé. A collision led to FC Hugo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tom Oha hit a great ball. If Paavo Peet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as La Pointe Courte's Ahmed Grail slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andre Pere. That made the score 2-2 after 80 minutes of play. Jean-Michel Blandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andre Pere had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Jean-Pascal Hingant's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 98 minutes into the match, FC Hugo's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Michel Blandin came free, but Andre Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Pointe Courte's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
