Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Eddie Vinström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Bograngen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Vinström to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes, La Pointe Courte's Yann Segond shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pontus Nilsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Pointe Courte reached it. After a defensive mix-up in La Pointe Courte's zone, Eddie Vinström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Fouquet came out of the goal and Eddie Vinström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pontus Nilsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Grail, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Éric Di Meo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in La Pointe Courte's zone, Kevin Levin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Fouquet came out of the goal and Kevin Levin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmed Grail received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pontus Nilsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmed Grail slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Pontus Nilsson came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by La Pointe Courte's Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin. But to his dismay, Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some careless play in the La Pointe Courte defense, Kevin Levin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sabri Fouquet. The La Pointe Courte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sabri Fouquet should have stopped the shot. Jimmy Allbom hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jean-Pascal Hingant took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pontus Nilsson. Bograngen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 48th minute, La Pointe Courte's Thibaut Mazieres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Michel Blandin in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pontus Nilsson saved Bograngen from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Thor Åkerström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, La Pointe Courte's Jean-Pascal Hingant got a free kick in the 66th minute. Pontus Nilsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Bograngen's Kevin Levin got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Levin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sabri Fouquet came out and tried to block the shot, but Kevin Levin slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Pascal Hingant during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bograngen booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Pascal Hingant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pontus Nilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Grail in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Bograngen getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eddie Vinström hit a great ball. Bengt-Arne Olsson's late challenge caught a La Pointe Courte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Arne Olsson helped the player get up and apologised. 91 minutes into the match, Bograngen's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Michel Blandin came free, but Pontus Nilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Frank Helström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
