Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Corrêa in the 3rd minute of play forced Juventud Antoniana's goalkeeper Celso Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Quebra Ossos FC's Gugu Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Demario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Richard Breckenfeld was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hernan Oxel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 8 minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Gugu Saldanha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quebra Ossos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventud Antoniana the free kick. The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Quebra Ossos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Elói Branco got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Hernando in the 35th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Juventud Antoniana's Hernan Oxel made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Breckenfeld was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Hernan Oxel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Breckenfeld was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 46th minute Eugenio Hernando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Oxel scored 4-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Breckenfeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elói Branco made a kick off. In the 56th minute Hernan Oxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Richard Breckenfeld stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Oxel's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Celso Demario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Saldanha in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the Quebra Ossos FC defense, Hernan Oxel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Breckenfeld. The Quebra Ossos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Breckenfeld should have stopped the shot. After having played for 80 minutes, Hernan Oxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventud Antoniana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Oxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juventud Antoniana made a substitution. Roque Oihan replaced Alejandro Medina. 84 minutes into the game, Juventud Antoniana's Hernan Oxel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Breckenfeld made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. Richard Breckenfeld didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Castel went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score. Aurelio Remicio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Breckenfeld having to interfere. Celso Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
