Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Krister Andberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Krister Andberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelsinho Ceresso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nitra FC's Nelsinho Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Utfal in the 16th minute of play. Nelsinho Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Andberg in the 17th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Sture Hermansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bodil United and the Nitra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Bodil United getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sture Hermansson hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Mauro Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viggo Lundkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Bergström in the 28th minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelsinho Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Andberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Bergström in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho Ceresso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bo Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Cerezo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Nitra FC's zone, Krister Andberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Ceresso came out of the goal and Krister Andberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nitra FC's Nelsinho Ceresso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Nitra FC from getting a goal against them. After 54 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Cerezo. Nelsinho Ceresso made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Krister Andberg sent off a good shot on target. Bo Bergström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Krister Andberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Nelsinho Ceresso however easily saved by the left post. After 76 played minutes FC Bodil United got a freekick which was hit by Peter Molander. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Mauro Ramos put in a rough tackle. Peter Molander shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Krister Andberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Nelsinho Ceresso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
