After some careless play in the Nitra FC defense, Marcial Gines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Ceresso. The Nitra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Ceresso should have stopped the shot. Guto Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Marcial Gines made a precise shot to the right of Nelsinho Ceresso. Nitra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After having played for 14 minutes, Hector Natal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Natal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nitra FC's zone, Nicasio Casomiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Ceresso came out of the goal and Nicasio Casomiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Gines in the 30th minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aílton Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Norberto Dantel made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Casomiro came free, but Nelsinho Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Casomiro in the 40th minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fabinho Fontes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP booed when Nitra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Nicasio Casomiro took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Nelsinho Ceresso to make any attempt to save it. André Luiz Koehler hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Norberto Dantel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Cerezo in the 63rd minute of play. Nelsinho Ceresso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Gines in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Ceresso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Gines. In the 69th minute, Marcial Gines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelsinho Ceresso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 73rd minute Mateus Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Dantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mateus Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Dantel was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
