André Luiz Koehler hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Simon Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Simon Rameriz got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Rameriz in the 22nd minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Ramiro Funes Mori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th match minute, Nitra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Funes Mori hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Mauro Ramos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Agustín Orion. Maravilla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Maravilla's Simon Rameriz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelsinho Ceresso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Cerezo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Spârlea came free, but Nelsinho Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Rameriz might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelsinho Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Rameriz ran back to his position shaking his head. Nelsinho Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Rameriz in the 58th minute of play. Simon Rameriz might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelsinho Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Rameriz ran back to his position shaking his head. Aílton Faria, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ramiro Funes Mori kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Nitra FC's Nelsinho Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Rameriz in the 78th minute of play. Simon Rameriz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelsinho Ceresso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Maravilla's Simon Rameriz got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 95th minute of the game was made by André Luiz Koehler with Mateus Gomes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
