Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sílvio Corrêa started the match with the kick off. Luís Gustavo de Lima's late challenge caught a Nitra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Gustavo de Lima helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Cerezo. Nelsinho Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateus Gomes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Breckenfeld having to make a save. Nelsinho Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Queirós in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld got control of the ball when Jorge Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aírton Queirós hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mateus Gomes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Breckenfeld. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nitra FC's Fabinho Fontes got a free kick in the 34th minute. Sílvio Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richard Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Cerezo in the 41st minute of play. Geovânio Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute Jorge Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Quebra Ossos FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Betão Marinho hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute Sílvio Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, André Luiz Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Téo Fonseca sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nitra FC's Nelsinho Ceresso didn't even have to move. In the 71st match minute, Nitra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Fontes to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Quebra Ossos FC's Sílvio Corrêa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelsinho Ceresso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Luís Gustavo de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Jorge Cerezo scored 2-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Breckenfeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Fabinho Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nitra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quebra Ossos FC the free kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
