Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Krister Andberg started the match with the kick off. Jorge Cerezo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Mateus Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krister Andberg got free with Nelsinho Ceresso in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Bergström in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho Ceresso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nelsinho Ceresso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krister Andberg in the 19th minute. Bo Bergström might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelsinho Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Bergström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute, Jorge Cerezo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nitra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 37th minute, FC Bodil United's Bo Bergström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Nelsinho Ceresso was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Bo Bergström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bo Bergström really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Krister Andberg put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nelsinho Ceresso.

Nelsinho Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Andberg in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when FC Bodil United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Holm didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Krister Andberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bodil United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krister Andberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Krister Andberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelsinho Ceresso was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Fabinho Fontes's late challenge caught a FC Bodil United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabinho Fontes helped the player get up and apologised. Fabinho Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Peter Molander charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Molander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, FC Bodil United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Molander to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Bergström's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. During the 76th minute of the match Fabinho Fontes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fabinho Fontes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Nitra FC's Fabinho Fontes got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 90th match minute, FC Bodil United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Friberger to maneuver through the defense. Geovânio Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Aílton Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nitra FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
