Dênis Donato hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Juventud Antoniana's Delmiro Castel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Toninho Tepedino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dênis Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredão Esteves's late challenge caught a Juventud Antoniana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredão Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredão Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Eugenio Hernando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Delmiro Castel made the kick off in the second half. When Aurelio Remicio fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventud Antoniana's protests and gave Aurelio Remicio a yellow card for diving instead. Horácio Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Demario having to interfere. Toninho Tepedino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Hernando's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Horácio Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toninho Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Castel in the 63rd minute of play. Toninho Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Oxel in the 70th minute of the match. Luiz Fernando da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Juventud Antoniana's Delmiro Castel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 82 played minutes Aracatiara EC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando da Silveira. Toninho Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Aracatiara EC's Toninho Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Remicio in the 89th minute of play. Roque Oihan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Delmiro Castel made a precise shot to the right of Toninho Tepedino. Aracatiara EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. There was no doubt that Juventud Antoniana were the better team. Juventud Antoniana's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
