Doriva Paraense hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Gert Friberger didn't quite understand what happened when in the 11 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Bergström in the 13th minute of play forced Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper Narciso Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Aracatiara EC got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Donato. After a rather tough play, Aracatiara EC's Doriva Paraense got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of FC Bodil United booed when Aracatiara EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Krister Andberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bodil United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Andberg in the 21st minute of play forced Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper Narciso Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Peter Molander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Narciso Ignatius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Drake cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. The FC Bodil United fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when FC Bodil United's Krister Andberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Aracatiara EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krister Andberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Krister Andberg made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Aracatiara EC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Esteves. Viggo Lundkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Karl-Johan Drake 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Bo Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bo Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Narciso Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Peter Molander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bodil United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. A collision led to Aracatiara EC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Horácio Pontes hit a great ball. Narciso Ignatius made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Krister Andberg sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Krister Andberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Ignatius. Karl-Johan Drake took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Ignatius. Narciso Ignatius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. 86 minutes into the match, Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper Narciso Ignatius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Johan Drake. Horácio Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The nice shot from Krister Andberg in the 89thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Narciso Ignatius had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Krister Andberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Bodil United played a much better game than Aracatiara EC and deserved their victory. The Aracatiara EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
