The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Garron Korner got a free kick in the 7th minute. Dennis Tozzi was a little too slow when Thimotheus Nolle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Eugene Mullis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Dennis Tozzi made a huge save. In the 18th minute Armando Garofalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Anderjoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Eugene Mullis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Tozzi. CA Boca Jrs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugene Mullis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thimotheus Nolle struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Dennis Tozzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zelg FC. In the 31st minute Armando Garofalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Anderjoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Armando Garofalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Boca Jrs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. CA Boca Jrs's Alvaro De Laurentiis was substituted for Demetrio Castellani. Marian Anderjoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Garofalo in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Comunardo Villa to strike the kick off in the second half. Marian Anderjoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Đerat Izzard, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Eugene Mullis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zelg FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 92nd minute of the match, Comunardo Villa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marian Anderjoli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Đerat Izzard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Marian Anderjoli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 97th minute, Bruno Forlano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the CA Boca Jrs players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zelg FC.
