Conrado Camargo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Tozzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Armando Garofalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Albertinho Netto got control of the ball when Armando Garofalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. CA Boca Jrs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Garofalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dennis Tozzi came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Nelson Dantas. But to his dismay, Nelson Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Armando Garofalo in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albertinho Netto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. CA Boca Jrs made a substitution. Alvaro De Laurentiis replaced Demetrio Castellani. In the 40th minute of the match CA Boca Jrs got a corner. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felice Cino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Albertinho Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Garofalo in the 42nd minute of the match. Emilio Mangione's late challenge caught a Nas Horas Vagas F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Mangione helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Emilio Mangione hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Comunardo Villa was the one to do the kick off. Albertinho Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Gelsomini, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When CA Boca Jrs's Ettore Gelsomini in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Gelsomini in the 94th minute of play forced Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper Albertinho Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
