The crowd rose to their feet as Nicanor Gaufred kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olgierd Hodas. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiktor Siembab during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, FA Sandtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Siembab to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Jacco Bednarek put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Jacco Bednarek got a free kick in the 30th minute. Olgierd Hodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Guipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Madej in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Lucjan Serwach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Serwach charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Serwach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FA Sandtown getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Lucjan Serwach hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Mateusz Madej got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateusz Madej was the one to do the kick off. If Mateusz Madej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Guipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi got control of the ball when Wiktor Siembab tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enrique Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FA Sandtown's Wawrzyniec Limanowski. But to his dismay, Wawrzyniec Limanowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 72nd match minute, FA Sandtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Limanowski to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiktor Siembab got free with Enrique Lekubegi in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lucjan Serwach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Eutor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olgierd Hodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Gaufred in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Lisandro Argi got a free kick in the 84th minute. The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Oton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Wawrzyniec Limanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FA Sandtown's supporters rose to their feet, but Wawrzyniec Limanowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Lekubegi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Eutor. Palermo's Nicanor Gaufred got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Dionisio Oton got a free kick in the 94th minute. Wawrzyniec Limanowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enrique Lekubegi. Palermo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The FA Sandtown players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Palermo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
