The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Mastronardi got free with Pedro da Rocha in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Conrado Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Bernardo Mastronardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Pedro da Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Supremacy Catania FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bernardo Mastronardi hit a great ball. Edoardo Di Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Matos in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Mastronardi to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Sílvio Favoretto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edoardo Di Lorenzo. That made the score 5-2 after 92 minutes of play. Supremacy Catania FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
