Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nicanor Gaufred made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Santos Ioritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Santos Ioritz sped through MARTINETA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guido Herrera. With a little luck, Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi got control of the ball when Marcos Acuña tried to sneak it across the goal line. MARTINETA's Guido Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Enekoitz in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Guipuzkoa in the 20th minute of play forced MARTINETA's goalkeeper Guido Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Reno came free, but Enrique Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MARTINETA booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Donato Vachon hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Israel Reno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enrique Lekubegi, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, Israel Reno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Lekubegi came out of the goal and Israel Reno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 played minutes, MARTINETA's Rigoberto Gabino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enrique Lekubegi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MARTINETA reached it. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Enrique Lekubegi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by León Carrera in the 41st minute of play. After 42 played minutes MARTINETA got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Itzaina. In the 43rd minute, Oscar Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Lekubegi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nicolas Bermudez. After 47 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Eguen. Nicolas Bermudez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Lekubegi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

52 minutes into the game, one of MARTINETA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marcos Acuña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Lekubegi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Acuña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MARTINETA's Natalio Urbasa got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Natalio Urbasa off the ground. After 64 played minutes MARTINETA got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Urbasa. Israel Reno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Reno in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Reno in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Lekubegi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Baldomiro Eutor hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, MARTINETA's Rigoberto Gabino got a free kick in the 86th minute. Guido Herrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Ioritz in the 89th minute. In the 90th match minute, MARTINETA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Benet to maneuver through the defense. MARTINETA's Guido Herrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save MARTINETA from getting a goal against them.
