Armando Garofalo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olgierd Hodas came out and tried to block the shot, but Armando Garofalo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Armando Garofalo scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olgierd Hodas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 played minutes Armando Garofalo could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 3-0 into the left cross. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Garofalo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olgierd Hodas. That made the score 4-0 in the 19 minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by FA Sandtown's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felice Cino was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Boca Jrs's players had a chance to rest. Sylwester Tamulewicz thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Olgierd Hodas, a very annoying self made goal in the 24th minute which led to 5-0. 31 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Olgierd Hodas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Garofalo. CA Boca Jrs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felice Cino in the 33rd minute. Felice Cino made a great header on CA Boca Jrs's corner, it was just that FA Sandtown's Olgierd Hodas managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 35th minute, CA Boca Jrs's Armando Garofalo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Wladyslaw Gomolka got a free kick in the 39th minute. Emilio Mangione hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Károly Tolnay made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Tozzi. CA Boca Jrs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Armando Garofalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olgierd Hodas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Olgierd Hodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Garofalo in the 54th minute of the match. CA Boca Jrs's Armando Garofalo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, FA Sandtown's Károly Tolnay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dennis Tozzi. Dennis Tozzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-2. Károly Tolnay charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Károly Tolnay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Károly Tolnay got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 74th minute Károly Tolnay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Tozzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes CA Boca Jrs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wladyslaw Gomolka who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Wladyslaw Gomolka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dennis Tozzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Armando Garofalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CA Boca Jrs booed when FA Sandtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wladyslaw Gomolka didn't get a good kick on the ball. CA Boca Jrs's Armando Garofalo got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olgierd Hodas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Garofalo went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score. After 95 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Károly Tolnay. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CA Boca Jrs had won after a very even match.
