Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcos Acuña started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes MARTINETA got a freekick which was hit by León Carrera. Arturo Santilli, 3 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Epifani got free with Guido Herrera in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Armando Garofalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, CA Boca Jrs's Emilio Mangione got a free kick in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Garofalo got free with Guido Herrera in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guido Herrera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Armando Garofalo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Armando Garofalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guido Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Garofalo in the 23rd minute of the match. MARTINETA were furious when León Carrera was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in MARTINETA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! 42 minutes into the game, CA Boca Jrs's Armando Garofalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Herrera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Aurelio Epifani did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Guido Herrera 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Epifani to make the kick off. CA Boca Jrs's Dennis Tozzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Reno in the 52nd minute of play. Alvaro De Laurentiis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes MARTINETA got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Acuña. Arturo Santilli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guido Herrera. MARTINETA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dennis Tozzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Reno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Herrera came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Boca Jrs's Armando Garofalo. But to his dismay, Armando Garofalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Epifani in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Herrera saved MARTINETA from getting behind. After a rather tough play, MARTINETA's Marcos Acuña got a free kick in the 80th minute. Guido Herrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Epifani went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Armando Garofalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Herrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Cleto Perutxo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, MARTINETA's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Epifani came free, but Guido Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
