Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wesley Mangueira kicked off to start the match. Thomás Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro de Castro in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro de Castro came free, but Thomás Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Thomás Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Pinheiro in the 8th minute of play. Luizão Schmidt hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Frank Meireles notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Thomás Vides. Thomás Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnaldo Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnaldo Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Luizão Schmidt hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Edinho da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Abraão in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Zé Pedro Pinheiro made a precise shot to the right of Thomás Vides. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Frank Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomás Vides came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Carrossel Caipira's Zé Pedro Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Zé Pedro Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sílvio Godoi hit a great ball. Samuca Trigo, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Zé Pedro Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrossel Caipira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedro Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
When Nando Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's protests and gave Nando Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Abraão to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Thomás Vides got control of the ball when Frank Meireles tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Gilvan de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carrossel Caipira's Evandro de Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carrossel Caipira's Edinho da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Marquez in the 64th minute of play. When Dino Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Carrossel Caipira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Urbano couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ defense, Evandro de Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomás Vides. The AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomás Vides should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Carrossel Caipira's Dino Urbano got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 75 played minutes Carrossel Caipira got a freekick which was hit by Dino Urbano. After 77 played minutes AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Marquez. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Evandro de Castro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 80th match minute, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Mazza to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Samuca Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrossel Caipira's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomás Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan de Lara in the 82nd minute of play forced Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Edinho da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan de Lara came free, but Edinho da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomás Vides was a little too slow when Evandro de Castro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-5. Thomás Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomás Vides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evandro de Castro went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The Carrossel Caipira supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carrossel Caipira would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
