Spectators: 7570 (Terracing: 5679, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wesley Mangueira started the match with the kick off. Carrossel Caipira's Edinho da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Botello in the 6th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Zé Pedro Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vaqueteros FC's Ramiro Gonza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Mangueira in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Gonza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Ramiro Gonza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 17 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Botello came free, but Edinho da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes in the game, Zé Pedro Pinheiro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ramiro Gonza having to interfere. The supporters of Vaqueteros FC booed when Carrossel Caipira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A hard shot by Samuca Trigo from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Ramiro Gonza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Carrossel Caipira getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Samuca Trigo hit a great ball. When Carrossel Caipira's Dino Urbano in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vaqueteros FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 39 played minutes Vaqueteros FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Botello. Ramiro Gonza stood somewhat misplaced when Zé Pedro Pinheiro came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 40 minute. 45 minutes into the match, Vaqueteros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Veiga came free, but Ramiro Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Dino Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrossel Caipira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Botello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Dino Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luizão Schmidt's late challenge caught a Vaqueteros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizão Schmidt helped the player get up and apologised. Luizão Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Wesley Mangueira made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vaqueteros FC's Ramiro Gonza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Wesley Mangueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrossel Caipira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Wesley Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Edinho da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Cordario. Israel Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Vaqueteros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Mangueira came free, but Ramiro Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Olavo Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Wesley Mangueira made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Gonza. Vaqueteros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carrossel Caipira fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vaqueteros FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
