The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Arauz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dumitru Tolea. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Pablo Fernández might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dumitru Tolea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Fernández ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicu Apăvăloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonidas Barrera having to interfere. If Pablo Fernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 18 played minutes Dark Prophets got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Povară. Pablo Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dumitru Tolea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Apăvăloaie hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Gustavo De Paredes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dumitru Tolea. Dark Prophets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo De Paredes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Dumitru Tolea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Fernández, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, ORION F.C.'s Gustavo De Paredes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Pablo Fernández's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dumitru Tolea was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Dark Prophets's Dumitru Tolea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Prophets from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Dark Prophets's Nicu Apăvăloaie got a free kick in the 36th minute. Pablo Fernández blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dumitru Tolea having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alin Curteanu to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Zapata came free, but Dumitru Tolea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dumitru Tolea came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by ORION F.C.'s Pablo Fernández. But to his dismay, Pablo Fernández quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Arauz in the 57th minute of play forced Dark Prophets's goalkeeper Dumitru Tolea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, ORION F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Fernández to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Pablo Fernández left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ORION F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The supporters of ORION F.C. booed when Dark Prophets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Potra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Cedeño, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Fernández in the 71st minute of play forced Dark Prophets's goalkeeper Dumitru Tolea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumitru Tolea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Fernández in the 72nd minute of play. Dumitru Tolea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Fernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Dumitru Tolea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Arauz in the 75th minute of play. If Pablo Fernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nicu Apăvăloaie fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Prophets's protests and gave Nicu Apăvăloaie a yellow card for diving instead. Dumitru Tolea came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by ORION F.C.'s Pablo Fernández. But to his dismay, Pablo Fernández quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0.
