Walmir de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Sandell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Alfons Hurtig recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walmir de Lara. Alfons Hurtig showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Walmir de Lara made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Patrik Beneth sent off a good shot on target. Nildo Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's zone, Bertil Sandell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmir de Lara came out of the goal and Bertil Sandell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfons Hurtig kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Walmir de Lara. That made the score 1-8 in the 77 minute of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Hamneskär's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bengt-Rune Löfgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmir de Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Beneth got free with Walmir de Lara in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Hamneskär's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
