The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalle Berg during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kalle Berg hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Urbano Claus struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GangsTaz F. C.. 11 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Dolfo came free, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GangsTaz F. C. were furious when Celestino Hermelando was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GangsTaz F. C.! A collision led to Worst Team Ever getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jan-Olof Ekegren hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, GangsTaz F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Melker Dahlqvist came free, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Eguerdi in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Vennersten in the 27th minute of play forced GangsTaz F. C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Paolo Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anibal Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Eguerdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. József Murai hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Isaias Eguerdi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Gartzi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes GangsTaz F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Dolfo. A collision led to GangsTaz F. C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Urbano Claus hit a great ball. József Murai hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Urbano Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Bengt-Arne Sjöö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Worst Team Ever getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Felix Hedlund hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, GangsTaz F. C.'s Urbano Claus tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Gartzi in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lazaros Kotsiopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Gartzi in the 83rd minute of the match. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Dolfo's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Urbano Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot. GangsTaz F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Claus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 played minutes GangsTaz F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Claus. Nestor Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaros Kotsiopoulos having to interfere.
