Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Yalçın Tezveren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Di Santo having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Alvaro Cannavacciuolo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tolgahan Onay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anfilogino Di Santo came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Samsunspor's Cavit Arslanoğlu. But to his dismay, Cavit Arslanoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Edoardo Rinaldi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 33 minutes in the game, Özgür Onuker fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anfilogino Di Santo having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özgür Onuker to strike the kick off in the second half. Anfilogino Di Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorukhan Erokay in the 51st minute of the match. If Özgür Onuker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cavit Arslanoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anfilogino Di Santo was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Demir Ruşen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tolgahan Onay was a little too slow when Alvaro Cannavacciuolo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 3-2. If Alvaro Cannavacciuolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the game, Demir Ruşen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samsunspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valdieri the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Samsunspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demir Ruşen to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Özgür Onuker notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Valdieri's Anfilogino Di Santo. Anfilogino Di Santo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Samsunspor's Özgür Onuker in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valdieri's goalie prevented a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Cavit Arslanoğlu came free, but Anfilogino Di Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Seyfi Kocakalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes, Alvaro Cannavacciuolo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdieri and the Samsunspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute Cavit Arslanoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Di Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Samsunspor booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Rinaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 88 minutes on the clock, Alberto Andreola commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Valdieri:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Samsunspor:s goal. Anfilogino Di Santo had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Dorukhan Erokay's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 92nd minute Yalçın Tezveren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Di Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Yalçın Tezveren in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valdieri's Alfonso Aloisi. For all the effort they put into the match, the Valdieri players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Samsunspor.
