Halcones Azules's Karl-Oskar Odén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Halcones Azules from getting a goal against them. Gerardo Oriche hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Carlinhos Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Naelio in the 33rd minute of play. If Gerardo Oriche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa defense, Wilfredo Naelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos Pombal. The Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Pombal should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Halcones Azules's Wilfredo Naelio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Gerardo Oriche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Halcones Azules were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A hard shot 51 in the game by Wilfredo Naelio from a close distance when the talented Carlinhos Pombal managed to make a qualified save. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's players were relieved. Karl-Oskar Odén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Ismael Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Halcones Azules's Fausto Salvino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Halcones Azules made a substitution. Geronimo Chepe replaced Fausto Salvino. Tales Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Odén having to interfere. Carlinhos Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Chepe's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When Halcones Azules's Geronimo Chepe in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Halcones Azules played a much better game than Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa and deserved their victory. The Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
