The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa booed when Las Momias F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Totenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Honesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgílio Nunes in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Vidal in the 20th minute of play forced Las Momias F. C.'s goalkeeper Camilo Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Carlinhos Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Lleir in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Juarês Baiano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Camilo Honesto. Carlinhos Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Nesto's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Las Momias F. C.'s Haroldo Lleir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlinhos Pombal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

In the 54th match minute, Las Momias F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Totenberg to maneuver through the defense. Carlinhos Pombal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Las Momias F. C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 78 minutes, Patricio Nesto made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Carlinhos Pombal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricio Nesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Carlinhos Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlinhos Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Nesto in the 88th minute of the match. Aris Totenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Nesto in the 94th minute of play forced Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalkeeper Carlinhos Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Las Momias F. C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa.
