Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antonis Klinakis started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, O.T.E's Ermis Panakakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Vaggelis Karagiozis put in a rough tackle. Cássio Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonis Klinakis in the 10th minute of the match. Cássio Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonis Klinakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Paliouras. In the 20th minute, Allan Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thrasivoulos Stamatis to maneuver through the defense. In the 24thth minute of the game Antonis Klinakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonis Klinakis in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Hermínio Ferraz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Markos Theodoropoulos to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's Donyo Dragiyski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Markos Theodoropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markos Theodoropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Domingues in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Allan Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 57 minutes, Ermis Panakakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. O.T.E's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermis Panakakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cássio Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Theofilos Chronatos sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute Tadeu Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Theodoropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. O.T.E's Markos Theodoropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Ferraz in the 69th minute of play. Antonis Klinakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of O.T.E booed when Alvinegro Carioca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markos Theodoropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donyo Dragiyski struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Cássio Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for O.T.E. A collision led to Alvinegro Carioca getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Elias Pereira hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermis Panakakis got free with Cássio Aguiar in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the O.T.E players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
