Rafael Paraíba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Markos Theodoropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Quintal in the 25th minute of play. Minotauro's Rafael Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Minotauro from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Claudinei Brito made a precise shot to the right of Markos Theodoropoulos. O.T.E's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Matorin came free, but Markos Theodoropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markos Theodoropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Quintal in the 35th minute of the match. Iosif Glossopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iosif Glossopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Minotauro. Sandro Quintal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Markos Theodoropoulos. 1-2. After 45 minutes of play, Minotauro's Claudinei Brito made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markos Theodoropoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Minotauro were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Theofilos Chronatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Minotauro's Sandro Quintal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markos Theodoropoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Donyo Dragiyski came free, but Rafael Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on O.T.E's corner Vaggelis Karagiozis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafael Paraíba quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Kiko Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minotauro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave O.T.E the free kick. In the 58th minute, Kiko Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markos Theodoropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Markos Theodoropoulos made a huge save. Rafael Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonis Klinakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Sandro Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O.T.E's Markos Theodoropoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Theofilos Chronatos came free, but Rafael Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Vaggelis Karagiozis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Minotauro's Rafael Paraíba did a great save. Markos Theodoropoulos made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Claudinei Brito sent off a good shot on target. O.T.E's Markos Theodoropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Quintal in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of O.T.E booed when Minotauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonis Klinakis went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Rafael Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonis Klinakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sandro Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minotauro's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markos Theodoropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
