When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Salvino made a kick off. But to his dismay, Geronimo Chepe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Karl-Oskar Odén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Mendonça in the 59th minute of play. When Ruben Salvadore fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halcones Azules's protests and gave Ruben Salvadore a yellow card for diving instead. Ruben Salvadore hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Yan das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Karl-Oskar Odén made a huge save. Alvinegro Carioca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Léo Faria in the 63rd minute. The match ended in a win for Halcones Azules.
