CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Nicolas Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Oloieru in the 4th minute of play. In the 10th minute Cláudio García shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Aluneanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Gabriel-Omar Bati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Aluneanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Fc S.Zaharesti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hermengildo Paulin took the corner. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Hermengildo Paulin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Constantin Aluneanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Manuel Bălanescu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Nicolas Maties was a little too slow when Ilie Tolea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Lisandro Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gabriel-Omar Bati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantin Aluneanu was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Nicolas Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Tolea in the 34th minute of play. Marin Claudiescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Nicolas Maties made a huge save. 38 minutes into the game, Cláudio García cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Constantin Aluneanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicolas Maties took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Oloieru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ion Oloieru was the one to do the kick off. Cláudio García did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Constantin Aluneanu 52 minutes into the match. Nicolas Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Popoiu in the 56th minute of the match. When CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Cláudio García in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc S.Zaharesti's goalie prevented a goal. 68 minutes into the match, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Oloieru came free, but Nicolas Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard, long distance shot from Manole Aanicăi flew over the goal. After 73 minutes of play, Fc S.Zaharesti's Doru Popoiu made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Maties was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilie Tolea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Maties having to interfere. Ilie Tolea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Cláudio García got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Claudiescu in the 87th minute of play forced CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goalkeeper Nicolas Maties to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Maties came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc S.Zaharesti's Ion Oloieru. But to his dismay, Ion Oloieru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fc S.Zaharesti had won after a very even match.
