After 20 minutes, Ulysses Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vascogoianiense FC and the Fc S.Zaharesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Vascogoianiense FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Perez. The Vascogoianiense FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Vascogoianiense FC's Evandro Gonçalves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Constantin Aluneanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Vascogoianiense FC's Diogo Corrêa got a free kick in the 71st minute. Diogo Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Vascogoianiense FC's Evandro Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantin Aluneanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Manuel Bălanescu made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ilie Tolea however managed to control. 84 minutes into the match, Marin Claudiescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Corrêa. Vascogoianiense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marin Claudiescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When Waldemar Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Vascogoianiense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldemar Ortiz couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Vascogoianiense FC's Bernardo Corrêa got control of the ball when Ion Oloieru tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vascogoianiense FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fc S.Zaharesti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
