Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marius Levința started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Vlashers's Roel Saarberg threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romeo Giurăscu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marius Levințas short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Roel Saarberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the game, Willem Rijkaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AVV Zeeburgia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlashers the free kick. AVV Zeeburgia's Roel Saarberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save AVV Zeeburgia from getting a goal against them. Vlashers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeo Giurăscu in the 21st minute. The corner led Vlashers's Romeo Giurăscu to fire away a dangerous shot which Roel Saarberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roel Saarberg came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vlashers's Marius Levința. But to his dismay, Marius Levința quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gigel Ghișerel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Roel Saarberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Amsterdam in the 32nd minute of play forced Vlashers's goalkeeper Narcis Popete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AVV Zeeburgia's Roel Saarberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save AVV Zeeburgia from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the game, Gigel Ghișerel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roel Saarberg. Gigel Ghișerel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Romeo Giurăscu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. AVV Zeeburgia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Nechifor Cosor scored to the left of an out of position Roel Saarberg, making the score, 5-0. Vlashers's Romeo Giurăscu got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dirk Jan Snoeks to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Marius Levința had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roel Saarberg. AVV Zeeburgia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Levința was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 63rd minute Romeo Giurăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roel Saarberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vlashers's Romeo Giurăscu in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AVV Zeeburgia's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Ghișerel came free, but Roel Saarberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Romeo Giurăscu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roel Saarberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Filip Urseanu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. AVV Zeeburgia's Roel Saarberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Levința in the 82nd minute of play. After 92 played minutes Vlashers got a freekick which was hit by Marius Levința. Roel Saarberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Giurăscu in the 96th minute of the match. Vlashers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
