After a rather tough play, Knight Of Dawn's Teobaldo Damario got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Mercurio Pasos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Ihazintu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 11 in the game by Anier Vincent from a close distance when the talented Jorge Vicente Basay managed to make a qualified save. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Remi Manzanal got a free kick in the 17th minute. Anier Vincent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jorge Vicente Basay made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Fernán Nancupel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Ihazintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
With a little luck, Knight Of Dawn's Aristides Ihazintu got control of the ball when Jaime Rufo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristides Ihazintu was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Remi Manzanal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Remi Manzanal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 65 minutes into the match, Knight Of Dawn's goalkeeper Aristides Ihazintu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Rufo. Jaime Rufo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Knight Of Dawn's Aristides Ihazintu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Knight Of Dawn from getting a goal against them. After 71 minutes of play, Knight Of Dawn's Anier Vincent made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mercurio Pasos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Knight Of Dawn getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pastor Iraitz hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match CJ Madura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Ihazintu skillfully saved the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
