If Augusto Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Ruy Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Medardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goalkeeper Carlinhos Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Quirze. Amador George's late challenge caught a MelissaMel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador George helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AbraXas's Amador George got a free kick in the 19th minute. AbraXas's Ermegildo Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Lara in the 28th minute of play. If Celso Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Medardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruy Lara went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Augusto Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ermegildo Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The AbraXas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MelissaMel were winning 0-2.

In the 58th minute Amador George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruy Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Silverio Ariando's late challenge caught a MelissaMel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 72nd minute of the match, Ruy Lara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ermegildo Medardo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ermegildo Medardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The corner led MelissaMel's Augusto Valery to fire away a dangerous shot which Ermegildo Medardo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Amador George who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MelissaMel's Carlinhos Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Valery blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermegildo Medardo having to make a save. After having played for 85 minutes, Augusto Valery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MelissaMel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Valery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, AbraXas's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Lara came free, but Ermegildo Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Valery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Valery received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ermegildo Medardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Valery slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 92nd minute. MelissaMel's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
