AbraXas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pogi Hanson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With 47 minutes on the clock, Jorge Pudes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 47th minute, one of AbraXas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AbraXas. The referee gave FC Dundee a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ennu Nurmik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AbraXas's Ermegildo Medardo. 0-3. After the first half FC Dundee were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amador George made a kick off. Severino Bazkoare hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Ennu Nurmik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amador George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Medardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Ariza, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ermegildo Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pogi Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Medardo having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Endel Tihumets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Dundee's Quentin Ariza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ermegildo Medardo. That made the score 0-5 after 99 minutes of play.
